Something to Remember Before You Raid Your Kitchen Cupboards

1. Avoid using certain ingredients directly on your skin

The DIY face mask is perfect for use but there are some of the ingredients that you should avoid to your skin directly without pre-mixing. Some of the ingredients that you should avoid are lemon and apple cider vinegar.

2. Check the manufactured and expiry date of the products

Is there the yogurt in your fridge for ages? If yes, don’t use it (even if it is unopened). If you can’t eat the expired food than why to apply it over your face? You need a brighter and healthy skin so avoid using expired products. Sometimes using expired products can make your skin full of red blotches, be careful.

3. Do a patch test first

When we buy new laser and acid products, we test it first, isn’t it? Do the same with the ingredient before using in over your face. If you are in doubt you can use the product out of the site, like on neck.

4. Use the mask on the same day you make it

Ingredients that are exposed to the air can quickly make bacteria attracted. So after making ingredients, keep it on a safe place by covering and it will be best to use on the same day you make it.
